High Country Gardens is a great place for online ordering; they have gorgeous pictures of the plants. They have tons of plants that need little watering once established.

Aw shucks, it was nothing. They are a very popular Old South plant, now that you know what they are you'll start seein' 'em everywhere. Glad to help.

And Ani, I don't think the Depot is the only place you'll find them around town... it's just the LAST place I remember seeing them. I wouldn't be surprised if your favorite nursery stocked them.

I am sure you are right about other places carrying these plants, now that I have seen all the response and the photos. I am thinking my grandmother had some of these! But - not sure what variety. After looking at all the pictures, I am thinking she called them "bayonets" or something like that . . .

I am gonna check by some places when I am out and about this week, but if I don't find them, I am gonna just order some plants. I have been known to waste a lot of gas and time trying to find plants and sometimes, when I know exactly what I want (and am not just scrounging in general for markdowns, LOL) it is just as well to order them.
