I actually have a friend that lives there and she said that a lot of the residents are remodeling in their homes. In fact, she just did a HUGE remodel of her kitchen and bathrooms. So even though the houses may be a bit older they may have been updated inside. In fact she said they purchased the home specifically to have the ability to remodel to their spec. When they sell they will probably have a significant increase in value. They are a couple in their 30s with two teenage boys.
Definately look there, especially for the schools. You should be able to find something that is updated, but still in a beautiful and mature landscaped area.
I know this post is super old but rather than starting a new one I thought I would try to bump it first.
We are currently under contract in Williamsburg in Raintree. Although several people have mentioned there is a good mix of families and older people, where are the families? We have looked at multiple houses and driven through during the week, weekend, and at various times and the only place I have seen kids is on Thomas Payne. I have never seen kids anywhere else including the cul de sac we are under contract at. I looked up all of our potential neighbors and all are at least 60+ and some are retired. I have some serious concerns about moving to an area where there are no kids at all considering the fact that I have a 7yr old and 3 month old. Any advice or information would be greatly appreciated.
