Just pretend you are in the Caribbean. That's what I do. I am even one of those ridiculous ladies who wears Charleston style hats when it gets hot. Yep. And I carry a hankie and a spray bottle filled w/ lavender water.

Southern women don't sweat; they glisten!

Say well northern born men in the south just plain SWEAT....I look at the next 3 months like a northern winter. I stay inside.

I love it. I just bought myself some lovely scented mist spray yesterday so that I can "glisten" too. I guess I will need to find my grandmas hankies, they are so pretty and fancy

That is what I am planning on doing. Traded 3 months of northern winter for 3 months of southern heat/humidity. I could always put on more clothes when I would get too cold, there is just so much you can take off.

Unfortunately I am running in and out of the house packing the camper for our trip to NJ so staying in the house with the a/c on is not an option today.

Exactly..to me the heat is unbearable and you cant put on an extra layer. . I love when people say how great the weather is here...i just don't get that. Overall, I think its a wash compared to where I came from in Southern New England.
