And the news from Lake Wobegone is sad too...
But not so in sunny Charlotte, NC where prices rose by over 7% in the first quarter of 2007 over one year ago! The number of units sold rose over 5% as well. Read more at

Here is the good news in the so-called "Bubble." When the bubble burst in the stock market in October 1997, market prices fell 30% in one day. The worst news from around the country is that home values lost 8% last YEAR.
And then I have to ask, if your prices fell 8% last year, howmuch did they go up over the last 5years? That's what I thought!
So price your house right, it will sell and come to Charlotte where you'll be greeted by low taxes, great real estate, and a climate that is "nice enough to move to the Carolinas" for! Here is a free search for
