Default Concrete or Wood Benches

Does anyone know where around Charlotte I could find concrete or solid wood benches for sale? I have checked with the local Lowe's, Home Depot's, and Walmart's but the quality is pretty bad. Thanks for any help!

For outdoor use? I'd check with a local craftsman, maybe one of those vendors at the Famers Market or at a craft fair. Or I'd look for one of those places that sells Amish-Built furniture.

I saw several outside Consignment 1st on Park Rd. this morning. I didn't inspect them too closely, so I can't comment on quality, but they looked nice at arm's length.

Smith and Hawken in Southpark. It's not cheap, but the quality is outstanding. They are having a 30% off sale right now too.

Default Same Dilemna

I've been looking too. I want an 8 footer for my front porch and was gonna build one from scratch but came across these brackets: Amazon.com: 2x4basics AnySize Chair or Bench, Sand, 09310: Home & Garden and was thinking of using them. They also make a set without the back.

I was going to get 2 sets, use an additional one for support in the middle but hack off the arm part.
