on our way to Monroe, NC in August!
I have a few questions....can anyone recommend an orthodontist and family dentist in the Monroe area? Also, I need to good gym that has indoor cycling, and an extensive weight room. I would prefer not to to have to drive 30 minutes to work out.

I am excited, but nervous. I am sure we will be fine, but I have a hard time with drastic change...lol
I guess from PA- NC is kinda what that is, huh? |

I have a 14 year old son, who will be a freshman at Sun Valley HS.

You are moving to Monroe and he is going to Sun Valley? I thought they put a cap on anyone from Monroe heading that direction. We belong to Monroe Aquatic Fitness Center and it has everything.

well, that's the school district we are in. Is there another HS that he could be transferred to? Now I am concerned.

The town or city you live in has very little to do with school assignment. The poster is just confused. There are many Monroe addresses that attend Sun Valley, Porter Ridge, and Parkwood schools. The city limits of Monroe have grown considerably beyond the school boundary lines in some areas.
Plug your address into the link [Marvinnative[/b] has supplied and you will get the most recent assignment for your student.

Getatag - Between our two links, she should have a good source to find out which school her children will attend next year. I thought she already knew she was in Sun Valley's district and was concerned she was in the portion that was being reassigned.
