Matthews Police search for suspects in home break-in.
At approximately 2:00 pm today (06/26/09) a home in the 2200 block of Candlelight Woods Dr., which is located in the Northeast area of Matthews, was broken into. Witnesses saw the suspects, 2 black males and possibly a female, operating a grey Nissan Xterra SUV style vehicle. The suspect’s vehicle also had a sticker on the back of it that was red and blue in color. The suspects were seen circling the neighborhood several times prior to pulling into the victim’s driveway and forcing entry to the home.
