Default Samoyeds in Charlotte?

Does anyone know of any Samoyed breeders in the Charlotte area or NC for that matter. I am having a hard time trying to find one here. I really don't want to have to fly somewhere to get one or have one shipped from somewhere. In case you don't know what they are they are the beautiful white fluffy sled dogs. They look like a bigger version of an American Eskimo and an even bigger version fo a white pomeranian.

I don't think there are a lot of them here because I understand that the heat and humidity is really hard on them. I knew people in the NW who had similar dogs, but not here. They are cute, though.

Go to the AKC's national website (AKC.org) and you can do a breeder search. There are several in North Carolina. Please go to a reputable breeder and don't support puppy mills or backyard breeders. Reputable breeders don't usually have the need to advertise. Good luck, they are really nice dogs!

I had my sweet little girl born and raised in Phoenix, now that's hot! I use to shave her in the Summer. I just saw one for sale in the Observer it's a boy and he's 5 months old. The person that had him had health problems and someone is fostering him till they find him a home. It even says in the ad he helped the lady while she was waiting for medical help. I believe it too. It just about made me cry I know how smart and in tuned those dogs are. I miss mine terribly. I am looking for a female though.

Thank you for the info. I would never support those parasites that exploit animals for money

Hi,
I got my samoyed puppie from a breeder in Danbury NC. Up in the north carolina mountains, right outside Charlotte. This was 2 1/2 years ago. I dont know if they are still in business. The last name of the person is Nutter. Good luck!!

Default Samoyeds

Sheena, We, like the other poster got our beautiful Samoyed from Karen Nutter, Samoyed breeder in Danbury, NC 4 years ago. She is an excellent breeder and our spoiled baby girl just loves E. NC. We DO NOT shave her down in the summer, as our Vet told us that her hair insulates her against the heat and she could possibly die without the protection. She loves being in the Ac and on the tile in the bathroom. She does just fine. Good luck in your quest. kelsie
