Head to Greensboro for the day, only 90 minutes from Charlotte, to Emerald Point - EVERYONE will love it, even the 2 year old

Wet ‘n Wild Emerald Point - Water Park

Or take them down the Knights Castle in Fort Mill for a baseball game, very cheap but very fun

Also, the movie theaters at the Arboretum and Stonecrest show free movies at 10 a.m. some mornings each week during the whole summer.

My standby activity is the Whitewater Center

US National Whitewater Center //// TAKE IT OUTSIDE !!! \ | Home

It was $5.00 per carload to get in and you would pay extra for activities. I think it's fun to go people watch and walking around is free
