thank you so much for your replies while i was out of town for a while.
i'll be posting a response very soon...lol i'm currently calling different apartments asking about any specials they may have.

well i am happy to report that after 2 days of driving all over charlotte & surrounding areas...we found a VERY good deal for a brand spanking new apartment in concord. the price for a 2br/2b was originally $775 *i think* but they have a special going for $645 or so until july 31st! We didnt want to get ahead of ourselves so we looked at the pro's & cons & the only con we saw that they were kinda small but they were wayyy nicer than some of the apartments we saw in our price range & in a better location too.

i don't think we could've got any luckier honestly. I just hope the application process will go smoothly. Please pray for us & hopefully I will come back with good news.
