Yep. A psychopath getting off on exercising ultimate power over life and death. That is the typical profile . . .

Few psychopaths wander around shooting. They usually stick to an area they know, or they integrate themselves into a community for a while, kill, then move on and integrate themselves into a new community. They are rarely people that no one knows. For example, Ted Bundy moved around, but he was involved in the community each place he went. Gacy, BTK, Robinson (MO/KS) all targeted particular types of people . . . the DC sniper got off on being in close proximity to his "prey" and singling people out in public areas. They all have a modus operandi . . . and that is what is bothering me about the info we are NOT getting about this man. What are the similarities at the crime scene? Why did he select the particular victims he selected?

I can't believe there is so little info being shared with the public. Random killers have a method and reasons for selecting their victims. Green River Killer . . . Zodiac . . . think about it. So why are we not getting more info about who could be vulnerable to this guy's next moves?

Serial killer connection? S.C. Law Enforcement Division looks for similarities in Gaston County early morning shooting

Quote:
Could an early morning shooting in Gaston County be connected to the Gaffney serial killer?

"South Carolina authorities are here to check for similarities," said Capt. Joe Ramey with Gaston County Police. "People are being interviewed."

Police have not yet released the names of the two men and one woman inside a Dallas-Spencer Mountain Road residence early this morning when one officer was shot and another man killed.
I'm sure that is standard procedure but it is interesting nonetheless.

Well I will say this... it seems that he likes to tie his victims up before he kills them. His victims so far probably tried to comply with his demands hoping he would just rob them and move on. Well from this point out anyone who is unlucky enough to cross paths with this guy should fight him with all their might. He is obviously not going to let anyone live regardless of what they do so better that his victims fight and have a chance at surviving than comply and be shot.

It's strange that a town of 12K people has had 2 serial killers in it's history...the Gaffney Strangler killed 4 people in the late 60s....sounds very randomn w/ this one....the father and daughter were killed in his store...and a peach farmer was killed.

There's suppposed to be a news conference at 8:00PM. It will more than likely be shown on the Spartanburg TV (WSPA) or newspaer (The Herald) sites.
