both brands are good, some items such as carving ready turkey and London Broil I prefer Dietz and Watson.

I do like Boar's Head, but I have to agree with an earlier post--what is HT charging for Boar's Head?

probably be about the same as it is for D and W, $9-$11 per pound.

It's going to be expensive, but I like it, because they use less perservatives, (if any), it's a more natural cut, but of course that freaks people out too, because its not as "pretty" looing, it's has characteristics of the meat, not the grounded up meat and seaweed.

I use to get it at lowes and happy HT will carry it. I find though that Target's Archer Farms is comparable and cheaper.

I thought you would be more upset that they didn't switch to Sara Lee brands.

DW London Broil Roast Beef is my favorite lunch meat, I also love their Homestyle Turkey Breast.

Super Bi-Lo still carries Dietz and Watson tho. Idk if the regular Bi-Los do, but I know the Super one does for sure.

Since moving here, I've never been so happy that HT started carrying BH meats. I could not stand D&W meats, yuck. I could care less if they charge $3.00 more a pound for BH, it's MUCH better quality meat. Bravo(and smart business) for picking up BH Harris Teeter.

On the first day, I purchased about eight pounds

Does this mean they won't carry Dietz & Watson anymore?
