A common theme throughout this thread is "want" . I "want to" or I "don't want to."

Listen here, boys and girls. The older you get, the less "want" and the more "have to" you get. By the time you have a mortgage, family, kids, cars, etc, etc, etc, you will be in so deep you forget what "want" even means.

Grow up!

White collar doesn't mean it isn't low-skill or interchangeable. Plenty of office drone jobs. Big boy jobs still don't make you pee in a cup.

Why don't you define big boy jobs while you're at it. I want to see why you think I'm a drone.

And I guess nuclear engineers are low-skill or interchangeable. If that's the case then name some jobs that aren't drones.

Big boy jobs start at 6 figures. Here are three, Dr , Banker, and Lawyer. They don't have to take a drug test. Their firm, associations and partnerships all do background checks, but primarily to make sure your credentials are authentic.

Many engineers & scientists make 6 figures and are usually required to undergo pre-employment drug testing.

Why don't you get a job that has random testing? Really get serious? I was randomly tested all my life and did not have a problem with it.

Too bad for them. It's unfortunate that their employers value what's in their pee more than their performance on the job, unless of course it's a requirement because the business does business with the federal government, than the employer has no choice.
