Don't Republicans have to vote for this too for it to pass? Everyone that is registered Republican needs to be change over to the Libertarian party. Republicans are just as bad as Democrats. Republicans have gotten more socialist over the years and its only going to get worse.

Actually, the US Dollar has gained in value compared to other currencies such as the Euro over the past year. Sadly, there are a lot of countries in worse shape then us.

NO. It takes 60 votes in the Senate and there are 60 Democrats. If they all stick together, we the people are screwed. |

The closest we've come were the Carter Years and I made out well in them. I bought a house for $35,000 financing $25,000. Four years later it was worth $125,000 and I owed $25,000 a $100,000 profit when I sold it. I also bought CDs at 14% for five years. The FED and these artificially low interest rate are destroying the economy.

I just checked the rates at my online bank and a 3 year CD has an APY of 1.50% I mean isnt this just sad? I have a few CD's at 4% and I thought that rate was low. |
