Re: The Raw Foods thread a while back
Just so you know, I was in Earth Fare (Ballantyne area on Johnston) a couple of days ago and they have a Raw Foods meeting on May 6th with a speaker to explain more. They also have a raw foods group that meets periodically (maybe once a month???)
The fliers are in the store in the very front near the customer service desk.
I didn't pick any up as we are very busy for the next 10 weeks and I won't be going to anything extra.

Fire = good.
But I'm glad y'all have more options coming to you in Charlotte for your raw food diets.
I am the one who posted about the meet up groups for raw foods, and if I find anything else, I'll pass it along, too.

Thanks. I tried raw and went back to mostly Vegan with a little fish every now and then. I just couldn't handle 100% raw.

Dawn, Thank you for posting this! During one of our regular "where do we go from here?" conversations, my DH and I were wondering where in NC would they have like minded-people interested in things we are such as meditation, spirituality, and healthy eating. Your thread gives me a very helpful answer to our question! THANKS!
Mrminsky - thanks for that link - I've bookmarked it and hope to visit!

I am trying to figure out if I should be offended by this or not.
So you thought people in NC are not spiritual, don't mediatate, and are not healthy eaters?
I am all of the above, but I do use heat on my broccoli.

BBQ took on a whole new meaning when I moved here. The first BBQ we went to someone loaded our plates with pulled pork and Jim said, "Oh, where is the chicken?" BBQ's in CA were any grilled meat. We learned fast.
