How often do you see the Sprint Cup drivers around town (Mooresville and around the lake). I have only seen team members, but not the drivers.

I've never seen any, but then again I don't know what they look like other than Junior.

Same, never see one but also don't know what they look like. I've heard Jeff Gordon goes to Nikko in Southend but that was years ago.

Years ago when Jeff Gordon was just getting started we would often see him at Eastland Mall. The mall had an autograph signing session and I got to meet Kyle Petty. I worked there 15 years ago and Rusty Wallace came into the shoe store and bought shoes for one of his kids. That has been the only times I've ever seen any drivers around town.

You definitely see them a lot less than you used to.

We see drivers and notables of the sport around town quite alot.

I have run into Michael Waltrip in restaurants and stores. It's kind of funny... He looks at me like I am someone he knows and then I guess he realizes I'm not that person. I just say hi and keep moving. There's a place in Cornelius that I went for lunch quite often. I used to see Johnny Benson there quite a bit. Bumped into Larry Mac at the DMV one day and then Robert Yates later the same day while we were both picking up our vehicles from a dealership service department.

My kids see drivers and teams where they work (a popular lunch place) and out around town (bowling, etc.).

My DW works at a retail store where many drivers, wives, and celeb's of the sport go to shop.

They're just regular customers like anyone else. I like that.

The only time I have seen a few out and about was when I worked for the Bobcats and they came to the games. Kurt Busch even called me "sweetheart".

I've seen Jeff Gordon's ex-wife at SouthPark a few times.
Otherwise not much.

Now going way back, my grandfather was friends with Lee Petty (50s-60s) and used to take my father to his shop and hang out.
My father remembers it well.

I 've lived in Huntersville for 12 years. I have only seen Humpy Wheeler in Red Rocks at Birkdale and Jeff Gordon when I first moved here at the old Fuddruckers in University. I have actually seen more Panthers players around town. I just saw Jordon Gross a couple of weeks ago at Nordstrom.
