Foster Parents for Kittens
Hi everyone,
I found four kittens in my yard a couple of weeks ago. I have been able to find homes for two kittens. Unfortunately, I cannot keep them any longer and have tried everything to find homes for the remaining two. I was wondering if anyone knew of a person that takes in kittens and fosters them until they can be adopted. I don't want to take them to a shelter. I live in Waxhaw. Thanks!

Give Dr. Nan Moses a call at the 4 Seasons Cat Hospital, they should be able to help you out. 4 Seasons Cat Hospital Home page

Good luck Deb. I would have probably offered to take them as I have in the past, but I am just not in the position to right now. Let me know how it turns out. :-)

I called Four Seasons Animal Hospital and they referred me to another organization, but unfortunately they are full. Oh well, I will keep trying. I only have one lonely little kitten now, so hopefully it won't be too hard to find a home for her. I would keep her, but when she grows up she will LOVE my birds. Thanks for the suggestion.

Just a thought, aren't there any farms who would like another "barn kitty" for mouse hunting?
Feral cats are hard to adopt since there are so many tame kittens available.
I would ask friends you know who work in small businesses too, its so nice when you have a company kitty at the site. I've worked at several places like that and it actually brought in more people to the retail business.

You might try going to the new Flea Market in Fort Mill, tons of people today. There's got to be a few takers in the crowd.

Well I am in the same boat!! Some sick person abondoned a pregnant female and she had 5 kittens who are now pretty wild. However one has decided my front porch is home--poor baby is so lonely that it cries and pads on the chair out there. It's about 12 weeks old I'd guess and I can now at least pet it. I also have another, way to young teen mama kitty who I'm sure had more babies but only one survived and she has brought it to my home also. That baby is about 3 weeks old and still needs mama!! God willing I would love to find a home for her and her baby together. She is a beauty! Looks like she is wearing black eyeliner. She should be in commercials!
Trouble is..I already have my own cats and cannot afford anymore. My cats are getting upset by the other cats and fighting amongst themselves now. Not good! Not to mention my husband is not going to let me keep them. We are retired and live on a fixed income and can barely afford the cats we already have...sigh.... I also have neighbors who are not very good to cats so it really worries me. So if anyone can help me out here please because I have about given up hope! I pray everyday that God will help us out here. PLEASE---these little guys need a loving home!!

Please remember to wash your hands after petting the feral cats and then petting yours. Certain diseases can be passed that way
