Are you sure about this because from what I research, if you go down to Fortmill, SC which is in the Charlotte Metro area THEY have the larger firework display?

Kings Mountain has the largest display between Charlotte & Asheville, but that doesn't make it the biggest in the metro.
Check for qualifications. That will tell you.
