"Hi, I'm glad you're hee-eere."

Every time I'd hear him whine this as a greeting, I wanted to smack him. And maybe knock off that dumbass little mini-beard thing he'd been sportin' lately. I hope he doesn't let the door hit him in the arse on his way out. I won't even miss him a little.

That being said, I wish him all the best.

I must say, not a big Dan fan. I'm with Sunny & Timm. Don't really care for most of his recipes and the voice. Just looked up his bio and I would have never guessed he's worked for top restaurants. Interesting.

I try to take in his recipes on occasion, but there is something about him that aggravates me, too. I thought maybe I was just being too harsh on him - it's his voice, I think.

Default Never noticed

anything odd about him until my husband started commenting whenever his segment was on. He really irritates my husband, too, lol. I find him benign enough, as far as tv personalities go. We call him "Chef Rogers"- a la "Mr. Rogers" as a tv chef. I like the more unusual news people- Mr. Eaton, Mr. Mathis and there was a weather guy in the 90's on a Wilmington station that was really- unique. At least they're memorable!

Since I do not live in CLT any longer I had no idea who he was. I clicked on the video and did find him a bit annoying. The way he said "oil" was peculiar to me. I thought the recipe looked go though!
