I can't believe July is gone.

I want a do-over. A repeat. One extra month. Not ready for August and the end of summer.

So what are you all doing this weekend to take advantage of the last few weeks of summer (b/f the kids go back to school . . . b/f we start thinking about Fall).

I will head to the Farmer's Market in the morning. If you all haven't tried the new market at Ballantyne . . . go support them! I hope they will be back next year, cause this is very convenient for me. Lots of good stuff available - and I found out about it on CD!!!

Gonna work some more on the landscaping projects . . .

What about you all? Got anything rockin' going on? Sticking close to home?

Anyone out there into boating? That would surely be a lot of fun . . . what's it like on the lakes these days? I don't have a boat and haven't been out. Does it get crazy on the weekends?

I mowed for DH today so he could relax this weekend. Last time I spoke to him he was talking about removing some cedar tree's and a dead tree we have in our woods out back. I think he just wants to use a chainsaw.

Pocono this weekend-NASCAR, although they were rained out today for qualifying so we'll see.

BBQ something. I may head up to the farmers market in Ballentyne per your suggestion, we haven't eaten a single ear of corn this summer, what's up with that?

I am heading to my local farmers market tomorrow - Matthews Farmers Market. Then perhaps a little clean up in the house - perhaps not!! Then American Idol concert tomorrow night. Sunday, kayaking on Lake Wylie, Sunday evening - airport picking up my babies who have been in Ireland and England for a month and I have missed them but they have been having a ball and aren't ready to come home just yet.

I will and every year I do it and every year they have such fun but this year they are asking if we can move back - it's a bit disconcerting.

Oh, wow. That would be unsettling - knowing they miss things that much.

Well, even as an adult, I had a really hard time adjusting to moving back here - and this is my home! LOL! It is so difficult leaving friends and starting over - anywhere! But for your kids - I am sure this really was a huge adjustment.

Was this always meant to be a temporary move? What a dilemma for a mom. We want our kids to be happy . . . maybe once they get back here things will fall in place - then with school starting soon . . .

well, all that is on my agenda is cleaning my room & bathroom....then, picking up my son at the airport tomorrow night; he's been in Peru this past week. Sunday, to Wesley Chapel, to check on the chickens and drop off my oldest for another stint in chicken-sitting. He doesn't know it yet!! but, his brother had to go out of town on an emergency, my DIL's grandmother died in WI and they have to go up there.

so, in all, a pretty boring time, but, I am lovin' it!!
