Irish Italian here...that's almost a sin, isn't it?
Seriously, though...I've only been here a short time and I've met a number of Italians. The great part is that this city is so diverse. Everyone seems to be from somewhere else. It makes it fun to meet new people.
My family and I will move to south charlotte in june, My husband is american but I'm italian. Any italian in charlotte?
Their name escapes me now, but there is an Italian / American club in Charlotte that puts on a small get together in the Wachovia Atrium every summer.
Also, the large Catholic Church in Fort Mill has an Italian festival every summer with excellent food, music, etc. I went last year and ran into a bunch of people from upstate NY that I hadn't seen since high school.
Location: Sunny Phoenix Arizona...wishing for a beach.

I was at a Taste of Charlotte last year, the Italian American club had a food stand and they had "Cannoli" spelled incorrectly on their banner. I just shook my head and walked on.

My old stomping grounds are in Utica.
