I figured I would go and check it out. How long is the area still jumping with people? I won't be there till around 7. Do people head out to clubs after that or just tend to go home? Thanks

I've been a couple of times. We always ride the train up. I think the bands usually go until sometime around 9:30 or 10. Sometimes we'll go to howl at the moon afterwards, but I usually have to work at 8 on fri morning so we're usually home around 10:30 or so.

That's a garbage post....and so outdated.

Yes himain, the clubs do fill up at the end of the concert. If you can't get there until 7, it will not be a problem. It really doesn't start to fill up until 8 or so. It might not be a Saturday night crowd, but there will be plenty of people Uptown tonight.

Have fun!

agree! I lived uptown (5th/poplar) for a year and there were days when i wished for the sidewalks to roll up around 6 or 7. There are desolate pockets but there's plenty of non-stop action around the usual hot spots.

I agree as well. I went a few weeks ago. We got there around 8:30 and the pavillion rooftop was filled to capacity. They were only letting people up as others came down. There were lines on both sides. We had to wait about 25 minutes. The lower levels were also packed with people. The band played until about 10:00. Afterwards people went into the clubs or hung around outside.
