What a great analogy!

It's just baking outside, ran a few errands and wanted to run by Lowe's for some house plants but will do that later when it cools down. Just didn't want to get back into a hot car again. The heat just zaps yous. How did I ever use to ride my quad in the desert? Motorcycle boots and socks, just thinking about it makes me sweat.

funny you posted this... the ac in my car is struggling, and i have been wondering: problem with the car, or problem with the fact that it is a billion degrees outside???

when it's in the 80's, the ac works fine, so i have to assume the problem is the freakin' weather.

as a native north carolinian, i have had far too much of this heat... am dreaming of cool breezes.

Since Labby chewed his pool up earlier this summer, I headed out to Wally World and purchsed a new one today. We played the hose game of chase the water and bite and swallow as much water as you can while we filled it up. A wet Lab is a happy Lab and I love a happy dog.

Yes runs out in mid 2010 with the current extensions but the government will keep extending UI benefits and I should be good I believe till sometime in 2011.

Hot indeed. I worked 12 hours. Outdoors.
But at least I was installing a lawn sprinkler system, so I got to cool off a little at the end.

Seriously though, could not drink enough water today. Had to change my sweat-saturated shirt three times. Now I'm sitting here at home in the a/c, drinking iced tea. This is better. Except nobody pays me to do this.

I must have the only lab that does not like water She prefers to sit on the sofa in the a/c.
