I went on a job interview for Red Ventures about 3.5 years ago for a Marketing Assistant. Seems like a cool yet small company. Not sure why they would be having a job fair though, b/c the company wasn't that large back then. They may have grown. I went for a Marketing Assistant and they wound up wanting me to apply for a Sales Trainer job. Unfortunately, after two interviews and a Power Point presentation, i wasn't offered the job. LOL!

Sales trainer job? I wonder if this is for commisioned sales people. They dont have to pay anyone and with the term 'Job Fair' they may get more people to show up.

The Sales Trainer job wasn't commision only. There was a salary. I truly wonder why they would do a job fair though. Hmmm?

They have grown tremendously over the last few years and have been named in the top 5 best companies to work for and fastest growing in NC 3 years in a row. Their office is on the edge of Ballantyne right outside one of the back entrances to Ballantyne Country Club.

I've read several articles in the business journal and local magazines about their work ethics, business models, employee retention rates, etc..

Sounds like a killer company to work for from everything I've heard and read.

Been to one of their job fairs. They have a couple of positions and get hundreds of people to show up. The last job fair you had to preregister for and get selected to come in. They had several hundred people come in. You would sit in a conference room about 50 at a time, listen to a sales pitch and watch a powerpoint presentation. Take a tour of the facility and then interview with an employee. Everyone who came in got a 5 minute interview. The employee who I interviewed with had no idea about interviewing so I knew right away they were not going to call me. Then they call people back or you never hear from them again. They give out coupons for discounts off their services that they sell.

Yes, I think they are telemarketing positions too - they seem to be constantly advertising for new positions and they pretty much always have the same job titles.

If the location is right and you are into telemarketing or sales, then go for it. It's a job! The company has sure grown a lot in a short period of time.
