Yep!!! Just waiting for a great family.....preferable with a 5th-grade boy who loves basketball and fishing. If you know anyone...send them our way!!! I'm thinking of increasing the pie offer to pie and cake  |

OK, fans! I'll be appearing this weekend at the Girl Scout's 95th Round-up Camporee at the Cabarrus Arena. Pinewood Derby and all. I'll be the crazy woman trying to set up a tent with six pre-teen girls! You'll find me over by the pinewood derby tracks, 'cause it appears we will be racing from 7 PM-11:30 PM...good grief...11:30 PM! All together now...pray with me...please don't rain, please don't rain! Also, please don't let the wheels fall off the cars, please don't let the wheels fall off the cars...(I am no pinewood derby car mechanic!) Did you ever volunteer for something and wonder who jumped into your body and raised your hand? Wish me luck!

Oh no, I have NEVER done anything like this!
Wait until mid-June, I volunteered to help for a WEEK at boyscout camp!!!!

Oh, Girl! You are in for some fun, now! Builds character... Don't forget to pack your PMA (positive mental attitude...learned that one at Camp Thunderbird...haha!)
Be sure to take pictures! Somehow, now that some of my kids are grown, they FORGET that I ever did anything with them. The only things that they ever remember are those events with pictures. My older two are jealous of the time I am spending with the baby - I don't guess they remember all those soccer weekends or dance recitals! |
