Default Blakeney shopping center-love it!!

Can I just say how great that shopping center is! My husband and I finally got to relax in Charlotte on our last trip down there for our pre drywall meeting and had a great time.

My husband is so excited to be so close to the Banana Republic (his fave store) and I heard a Victoria secret's is going in (my fave store!)

Anyways, we ate at 131 Main. The food was great and so was the atmosphere. The corn bread was yumo!

Afterwards we were so shocked to see so many families out so late and they had live music in the square. We sat by the fountain, drank some wine and people watched. We really felt like we were at a resort in Disney World. Everyone was having so much fun and oh gosh the people are so nice and sweet…definitely something we are not use to here in Philly.

We also went to Ballantyne and enjoyed the red hot center and all its stores! Some really good shopping~~~We can’t wait to move!

Here's the last list that I saw for Blakeney (some stores already in, others supposedly coming): 131 Main, Acorn, Banana Republic, Brixx Pizza, Carriage Cleaners, Chili's, Coldstone Creamery. Encore Bar & Bistro, Five Guys (I LOVE THE FRIES!!), Frame Warehouse, Francesca's, Great Clips, Guiliani's Fine Jewelry, HUE Studio, Harris Teeter, Looby Loo, Marshalls/Home Goods, McAlister's Deli, My Bella Spa, My Gym, Noah's Art, Off Broadway, Old Navy, Petro Express, PostNet, Radiance Med Spa, Salad Creations, Starbucks, Sugar Magnolia, Suntrust Bank, Sweet & Sassy, Swoozie's, Target, Try Sports, Wachovia, White House/Black Market, Yoga Flex

There's still a lot of space to rent...if someone agrees to open a good bagel store I will promise to buy at least a dozen bages once a week.

131 Main is a great restaurant! Encore Bistro and Sugar Magnolia in Blakeney are very good as well. Brixx is pretty good too, but not as good as the others in my book. I'd rather get NYC-style pizza for less money elsewhere

For lunch, try the Salad Creations next door to Cold Stone... huge, excellent salads with a ton of items and dressings to choose from!
