Default house

Yeah we were firm too but unfortunately it did not work out that way. We might also be a little picky we did upgrade the cabinets to white and added a bay window.

Good luck! Either way I am sure you will love the area!

If I may ask what are you looking to upgrade with them and what would you do yourself?

I asume you are aware that you will have no overhead lights in the bedrooms and limited cable and phone jacks.

I think the fireplace ran about $4000, if you phone the studio tell them the development and model they will give out a couple of prices that would then give you a good idea before your appointment.
Ask them to show you in the showroom the basic cabinets that you get in the kitchen

Be prepared to pay a steep price for hardwoods... they would have been around $13 a sq ft for us. Way overpriced imo. When I went there I was blown away by the # of options, cost etc... I ended up telling them i needed a second appt, took the price list with me, made my own spreadsheet and went back prepared. Bottom line, get the price list... prioritize on your own time then meet with them. My 2 cents. I don't like their policy of no changes after studio appt but they are upfront about that.

I already know they are charging 7.50 sq ft for hardwood floors....and the policy there is, 2 total appointments. the first one you select what you want and the second appoint. which needs to be days apart will confirm any changes to finalize the list.
