We live on the outskirts of Denver. We drive through it all the time on the way to the airport. Very nice place to live!

As far as commuting into Hickory, you can take HWY16 directly up or hop over to HWY 321 and access it that way.

Denver is a very nice town. Close to Charlotte right down 16. Also an easy commute to Hickory up 16 to Newton then I-40 to Hickory. Pretty centralized to where you need to be.

I moved to Denver in 2000 from Atlanta and found it to be absolutely fantastic. The housing is affordable and the schools are great. I would never move anywhere else, especially to the Atlanta area! I was born and raised in rural Kansas and found Denver to be the best of both worlds-small town charm with all the amenities of a diverse and thriving city nearby.

Default did you move

Hio, my husband and I are considering a move to Denver, NC, we haven't been there yet but are planning a trip soon. Did you end up moving there? If so do you like it?

Someone had said that after the new walmart and lowes went up that there has been a stop on development due to sewage problems. I would like to know a little bit more about that as well as prices of homes, cost of living, and just a feel of how what it is like there. Can anyone help?? I would really like to hear more from unthinkit

Check out the DABA Denver Area Business Association website, it is a good source for info, especially the business directory. I think the address is www.dabanc.org but you can google DABA just as easy.
