They have a very good reputation. I lived next to Weiland's Hamptons neighborhood in Huntersville and it's very nice. My in-laws are purchasing a Weiland home north of Atlanta and I was very impressed with the home. Great standard features. Excellent quality build.

I've heard nothing but good things about Wieland as well. His quality usually comes at a price, but if that's a price you can afford, you'd be getting a very nice, well built home

Wieland has an excellent reputation here.

Even 20 year-old houses in Atlanta will be advertised as "a John Wieland resale!", so that says a lot.

I have sold several of John Weiland homes and so far.. not one person has been disappointed. I think their customer service is top notch as well. Not sure where you are looking but Providence Hills, Rea Woods, Brookhaven, and Weddington Chase are all awesome communities to look at around south Charlotte and union county.

Generally yes, but as always the best deals are on Inventory homes, already built ones--otherwise it is easy to pay too much. I wrote a detailed post on the Problem with Builders you might find interesting. PM if you need more.
