Would anyone know what happened to the Cheesebuger in paradise location in Huntersville? Went there the other day and they are closed.

Thanks

My coworker lives near there and thinks there may have been a fire. All the windows were boarded up immediately after they closed.

I had heard that they were constantly packed. Never made it out to it despite being a huge Buffett fan.

I think it was nothing more than a case of the franchise not being able to handle the new economy. People stop eating luxury hamburgers in fancy settings when times get bad. They will cook out on the grill at home instead. (or at least go to the Huntersville Cook Out where the burgers were better and about a 1/5th the cost)

Someone posted on another thread that this placed closed the 1st week of June and that the placed got boarded-up immediately - probably nothing to do with a fire and more to do with keeping the undesireables out.
