I think it was nothing more than a case of the franchise not being able to handle the new economy. People stop eating luxury hamburgers in fancy settings when times get bad. They will cook out on the grill at home instead. (or at least go to the Huntersville Cook Out where the burgers were better and about a 1/5th the cost)
Someone posted on another thread that this placed closed the 1st week of June and that the placed got boarded-up immediately - probably nothing to do with a fire and more to do with keeping the undesireables out.
