The article doesn't mention if the word was spelled wrong on the printing request or if the printer is at fault. Still, someone should have looked at them before handing them out.
I did learn something from this article, though. I had no idea that people use coasters in the cupholders in their car.
Me, either. What, exactly, is a coaster that goes into your cupholder? What is its purpose? Is it flat and just sits at the bottom of the cupholder? Why would I want one.
I have been puzzling over this since reading the first post. Please put me out of my misery and someone explain what the purpose or need would be for inserting a flat object in the bottom of my cupholder . . .
I have seen cupholder coasters that soak up the condensation so your cupholder doesn't get gross inside. Maybe that's what it is?
I guess that makes sense since one site refers to them as "absorbent". I don't use my cupholder very often so I didn't even realize this was a problem.

So money is spent to print something onto something that sits in a hole and is rarely seen (beneath a sweating Big Gulp)?
Brilliant...

yes, isn't it? Donated or not, that money could have been much better spent. Being a teacher myself, I enjoy little appreciation gifts from time to time, but I usually end up with a bunch of crap that I throw away anyhow.

Oh. Well I wondered. Sounds like it would suck up goop and quickly turn into a medium for incubating bacteria.
But hey - what do I know. I use stadium cups if I am taking my iced tea with me - and wrap them with napkins to catch the moisture. I guess that looks kinda crude, but at least that way I can throw out the damp napkins and no goop left in the cupholder. I guess that is pretty tacky compared to a real cupholder coaster, misspell or not, lol!!!
