My afternoon went right to s**t. Hot water heater blew and then almost started a fire in the oven. I'm ready to call it a year.

DH is talking about getting a tankless water heater as ours is up in our attic and we had it overflow when we first moved in due to the high water pressure. Trust me I know how you feel.
Last Friday was my interview and I ironed 2 outfits, my exact thought was just in case something stupid happened like if I fell down or something. Sure enough I took the dog for a quick whiz and tripped and fell on him coming back up the steps and just about put a hole in the knee of my dress pants! Totally skinned my knee. Luckily I was able to throw on outfit #2! Now I am going to have to take those pants to a tailor and have them made into crops or shorts.
Saturday, I went to chew a piece of gum and when I bit down I heard and felt my tooth crack/break, but it was still intact until I ate dinner Sun night and I forgot not to chew on my left side in which I wound up swallowing 1/2 my tooth! Went in for the temp crown today.

I have good news, I accepted a job offer today! I start in 2 to 3 weeks, it feels so good after being out of work for 15 months. DH and are are so excited. Although it was nice having time around the house and playing with my labby.

You think our problems are bad? Just got word from Santo Domingo that there was a 7.0 earthquke in Haiti at about 5PM. Haiti,had nothing before the quake and now has probably thousands killed as I think (my bad Spanish) a hospital collapsed.
I'm headed there (SD) on Sunday and will be sure to stay out of the water since I don't swim well in tsunamis.
