Ani, go to your Profile, then to My Settings at the top of the page in the blue bar, then Settings & Options, then Edit Ignore List. A box will display where you could enter the poster's user ID. Remember to Save.

Is it going to look rude of me when I don't address posts by a person who posts 4 x in a row on a thread I started? I can't read what is written cause it is on "ignore," lol. I ordinarily sit on top of threads I start b/c I feel like since I started the discussion, it is only polite to address the various issues folks write about. But since I can't read these particular posts . . . should I put a note on the thread saying "Due to my not being able to read your posts I cannot reply . . ." ???? UUggghh. There isn't an etiquette book on these types of situations. :-(

Ani, you can selectively View the posts of people on your Ignore list, and if you feel you must respond, you still can! After all, they don't know that they are on your Ignore list. If what they post totally chaps your hide, then by all means, knock 'em dead!

Yes, you are right . . . I could do that. But no, I decided to just ignore the baiting. When I came to terms that this was what was making my time on the forum no fun, it occurred to me that I did have a choice to ignore it.

So I just won't write a thing.

Whew this time (by pure coincidence) I already have my bread and milk. I had no idea of any upcoming winter storms
