Wow, what a great read. Thanks for sharing! How was the service? Did you enjoy it?

Holy cow, I don't think I've ever seen as many wrecks in one day as I did on about a one-mile stretch of I-85, right around mile marker 115. Must've been a busy day for the State Troopers, tow truck drivers, and EMT's.

Merry Christmas Christopher,
You know I actually don't attend church but we had a really nice time. My brother in law's friends had invited us and it sounded pretty interesting and we actually had a really nice time. The sermon was short and very nice and the rest was carols/singing. We also wanted to go for my brother in law for extra moral support as my sister in law passed just before Thanksgiving.

Glad you enjoyed it Nancy and I'm sorry to hear about your loss. I know it's hard to lose a relative especially during the holidays.

@Superk

My fire pager hasn't activated all day which is kinda shocking. My fire station has a stretch of I-485. Also, we are mutual aid with Harrisburg, Idlewild and Mint hill so all is quiet. I'm hoping for a quiet night tonight so I can get a full nights rest before work in the morning.

Thanks Christopher

Hope your pager stays quiet.

I got off earlier today, thank you, Nancy, but, went to lunch with a friend, got my hair cut and then went to Concord Mills Mall with my oldest son. His winter coat was falling apart, and, well we decided to try to hit the after-Christmas sales. YEAH. Not such a sale!! Worn out now and resting!!

Thanks for the info on Boxing Day.
