mornin' all, couldn't sleep last night, so, after a measly 3.5 hours, I am forcibly awake so I can go to work/school. YUK. Have to stay awake...have to stay awake...have to stay awake..have to stay awake...
Good morning , everyone.
I'm sure none of us can wait for spring. One thing about it , the more one desires for time to 'accelerate' , it will do so , at least psychologically until you are in your 80's wondering where it all went in the blink of an eye.
Ok I have to ask someone, does anyone know why certain intersections have a horrible smell to them? Everytime I stop at a red light I have to hold my breath, at first I figured it was some nasty exhaust coming from a truck near me, but then I realized it's every time I am at these intersections. The ones in particular I am talking about is WT Harris and IBM (nearest Mallard Creek) and then the next stop light near the entrance to the Red Robin. Anyone know what that is? Its not unique to Charlotte, I've had other intersections stink. What gives? It cant just be sewage as thats under the whole city right?

So so true . . . my dad is 80 and getting more frail . . . I keep thinking of all the days that have gone too fast and how they all seem to be going too quickly when I am spending time with him.
I guess it is true - how the passing of time "feels" has everything to do with how long you have lived.
