mornin' all....yeah, I believe it Keith. Bad flashbacks of winters in Chicago have been occurring!!

SIGH. Well, I guess that we should be glad that we are not in the NE now.

Still, it is TOO COLD!!!!!!!

Keith, I am older than you but I do not remember 1969 being that big of a deal as far a being cold. 1960 was always the year everyone referred to as the "worst" - weekly snow into March - and it never melted. Stayed on the ground all winter.

I am old enough to definitely remember 1969 but it is so weird to think I have no recall at all of that winter being particularly bad. I wonder if we got a lot of snow that year . . . I do remember some time along the way that the school buses had to use chains a lot one winter. Maybe that was 1969, lol.

mornin' all...took the dogs to the vet this morning...WHEW. Trying to handle these two monsters at one time...

Yes! I hope it turns out to be nothing, but I'm glad all the potentially affected areas are taking it seriously. I couldn't stand to see another disaster like the 2004 tsunami. That was hard for me to watch.
