Yes, we've been through this before with many just causes. The answer is simple: city-data is not a place for fund raising or attention gathering - this kind of posts are simply off topic for us.

Thank you for the reminder! If we need to take a break while we're in VA (and it takes a looooong time to drive that state), we'll just have to find the local McDonald's. No way to avoid VA!

LOL, I know! I got stuck in the closures the night I returned from a funeral in July & that night, for whatever reason, they decided to close them all. Fortunately I had stopped at the rest stop in Laurel,MD (on 95) & stopped at a Wawa in Petersburg. I was quite ready to stop at the NC Welcome Center!
