What is everyone doing for Labor Day?

We will be home - have projects to finish up such as staining decks.

There are bound to be some interesting things going on. Anyone grilling out? Day at the lake? Day trips? Guests arriving?

What's going on out there in Charlotte?

The wife and I will probably be going to our new house to see what else the builder has done wrong. Might hit up a BBQ joint or make our own. Not sure yet.

I might take the boys to the Stumptown Festival... oh, wait - now it's called Matthews Alive! On Friday night, you can buy a wristband and have unlimited rides on the attractions. I like to walk around and visit with the craftspeople and musicians, and people-watch.

That will be a nice get together at Matthews Alive! (aka Stumptown Festival, LOL - love the way event names get changed!) Great time for kids, especially, but pleasant and inexpensive entertainment for the whole family.

On Saturday, I will be at SouthPark for Animal Care & Control's next adoption event.

Other than that, no plans.
