We are looking for a 2BED apartment in a good colony...
Please suggest..
We have reviewed ChesWyck and marquis etc .
We need apartment around good schools (PRE_K 4)
I work in Downtown Charlotte (301 S Tryon), so let me know about traffic office commute.
I stayed at the Cheswyck for about 2 years and had a great experience there. Great complex for the price! Loved the location. For preschools I would recommend the Goddard in Ballantyne, Learning Links of Rea Road, and...well, that's about it. Not sure about commute times as I didn't have to commute to downtown. Good luck.
I can't speak to the school system, but the statistics show that uptown is quite safe. From my experience, uptown is quite busy on the weekends and week nights, not empty at all...
Depending on what time you leave for work, your commute would be at least 30-45 minutes. I used to live in Ballantyne off Marvin Road and the traffic going out of Ballantyne in the AM was horrible. Camden Stonecrest has a good location right off Rea Rd and is near the Ardrey Kell area. I believe that school system has gotten good reviews. I would also suggest Plantation Park apartments. My experience working with those two apartment complexes has been positive.

I'd look at Providence Court on hwy 51. Commute uptown during rush hour could be up to 45 minutes, but less if you leave before 7 a.m.
This apartment community is right across from the Arboretum in South Charlotte and every unit has a washer and dryer included.
