We will fly into Charlotte for a visit end of Oct/beginning Nov.
We would like to stay at a reasonable place with an indoor pool for my chronically ill son who is 24. We were thinking a suite type arrangement might be best though it does cost more. Can you recommend some options? I have been looking online but that only tells you so much...
After a few days we will drive down to Summerville/Charleston and poke around there for a day or so before heading back up to Charlotte to fly home.
Has anybody stayed at a place w/suites in either area and is willing to share their experiences either good or bad?
The Hampton Inn Suites on Arrowood Road is a hotel my husbands firm used to use as it was close by their offices. They have a pool and I believe it's inside. It isn't too far from the airport either - just off of I485. They do have a complimentary airport shuttle and it would be handy for I77 to get to Charleston. I am not sure of their prices but Hampton are good for deals.
I've used Embassy Suites near the race track. . . just never checked out if pool or no pool.
