Does anyone know where I can find kosher ground beef and kosher chicken in Charlotte?

Gleiberman's is a great suggestion -- the only place between here and Atlanta for Kosher meat. Sometimes BJ's Warehouse Club carries the frozen Empire chickens.

I've seen all sorts of kosher cuts at Trader Joes as well. Not sure if they'd have as high of a turnover as Gliebermans, but their selection and prices are more competitive. I've seen kosher beef as low as $4/lb there.

Thank you all for your suggestions. I was actually hoping to find something other than Glieberman's. I knew that all TJ's had kosher chicken, and I found out today that the TJ's in Piper Glen is getting in kosher brisket for Rosh Hashanah. So, we decided to go with that instead of ground beef.

Also, it never hurts to ask at TJ's if they can get other kosher products in at times other than holidays. They can't always swing it, but sometimes it pays off. Plus, if enough people ask so they know there's a market for it, they might expand their selection.

Ok, I just asked my daughter. They (TJ's) are planning on adding kosher beef - it's supposed to be in by the end of the month, but they've had some serious issues with their warehouse, so it might not happen as scheduled.

Oh, and the beef briskets are limited quantity, so if you aren't planning on getting to the store right away you might want to call and reserve one.
