Default Big Red Soda

Hi everyone!
I'm new to the board, but not to Charlotte. I am in search of Big Red soda. I've found 3 places in Charlotte and am looking for more. The first place I found it is the Shell station up in Huntersville in the Northcross shopping center. The second, the gas station in the parking lot of BiLo that is on the corner of Lawyer and Wilson Grove. The last place I found it was at Compare Foods but they only sell it in cans and 2 liters. I'm primarily looking for gas stations that sell it in 20 ounce bottles. If you know of a gas station that sells it I would like to know.
Thanks.

Do you have a Facebook account? If so, I would recommend joining their Facebook group and put a post on their Wall.

Big Red | Facebook

If not, I can do it for you. If you want a good NC soda, try Cheerwine!

I know the Wal-Mart in Monroe has it in cans and 2-liters. A co-worker brings me a 2-liter whenever she goes to Wal-Mart because I can only find it in 20oz bottles at gas stations on my side of town (NW Charlotte). I grew up on Big Red (Texas) and love being able to get it on "tap" as I like to call it whenever I go home to visit.

There's a small, small store in Hemby Bridge that carries it, off Idlewild Rd.

Thanks for the help. And I agree, it tastes nothing like Cheerwine. I actually do not like cheerwine.

I've seen it at Tega Cay's Wal-mart.

I think Big Red originated in Arkansas, as did Wal-mart. Makes sense they would carry it.

Is this anything like Cherokee Red, which was definately a cherry soda? I used to love Cherokee Red when I was a little girl in PA and would love to find something like it.
