What if I got twins but each one has a differant baby daddy. I cant marry boath of them cause thats against the law. (yes it is possible for this to happen if the twins arent identical)

I dont get the big deal about Marriage. They live together, they both are raising the kids, and they both get along. Isn't that enough? The kids can't tell the difference if they are married or not, Getting married isn't going to make the relationship last longer.

Not enough money to get married is not a valid answer. You can go to the city and have a judge do it for cheap. If you are really poor and want a religious wedding then you should be able to talk to a pastor, priest, or some other religious authority to do it for cheap. If they wont, then it just proves my point that organized religion is a money making scheme.

I dont get that people think they need to spend 10's of thousands of dollars on a wedding. I spent more on my honeymoon than my wedding. Why? The small wedding I had and the reception lasted 3 hours? My honeymoon lasted 5 days.

a lot of it has to do with the fairy tales and fascinations that get placed into children's/peoples minds. Not to mention the materialistic aspect of it all.

I was watching the history Channel on Wednesday morning. They had a program on that included I think Charlemagne (sp?). I think he had a couple of wives, mistresses, and others who he had kids with. They mentioned that the Church put a stop to the multiple wives thing back then. It was sometime middle ages. So if you go back a thousand or so years, or move to the Middle East, take up Islam, and can afford it, then you can marry both.
