Good morning!

I thought I would post this here since there are quite a few folks on this board who have relocated from NJ, and some of them may have graduated from RU.

Did you know that there is now a Rutgers University Alumni Club of Charlotte? I attended my first meeting of this group last night. They are very new, and have just started meeting in January. They are actively recruiting members to join the club for networking and social activities.

If you are a football fan, the group will be watching the RU vs. Maryland game this Saturday at Dilworth Neighborhood Grille. Kickoff is at 3:30 PM - meet the group in the lower level.

If you'd like more information, please send me a DM and I can put you in touch with the club's president.

Hey, I knew I liked you, ctribucher!

Technically, I went to Mason Gross, so being "arty" I'm not really into football.

But it's nice to know we have our own alumni club here! Thanks for posting!

We'd love to have you even if you aren't a football fan, ultra!

Right now, we're using the football games as a way to connect with alumni in the area. Moving forward, we're planning on doing more networking and community service activities.

If you'd like me to get you in touch with the club's president so you can get on the mailing list, please send me that info via DM.

And, since you're a Mason Gross grad, maybe you can help me advance my drawing skills past stick figures.

I actually met up with a group of Charlotte-area Rutgers alumni a few years ago to watch the Rutgers-Louisville game. UL won BIG, but I had a great time even though I am a New Jerseyan who didn't go to Rutgers.
