We live near Carowinds. We are looking for a high-quality TK / JK program. Can you give me the names of some programs to look into? We would be willing to drive a distance if necessary, but of course would rather be close to home if there are good programs around here to apply to. Thank you so much!

In response to 2 PMs I got, a JK/TK is for kids who have completed a 4 year old preschool program, but aren't quite ready for full kindergarten yet. Thanks!

All the TK or pre-K programs I know of are either in a few of the Catholic Schools are the private schools. Closest to Steele Creek (though not very close I'm afraid) are the programs at St. Matthews in Ballantyne or at St. Ann's on Park Rd. If these interest you contact the school system:

Learning Links near Blakeney may be something you'd be interested in. It's not super-close to Carowinds, though. Lots of church-based preschools have TK, though. Sorry--I don't know any near you, or else I'd suggest some. Good luck!

THANK YOU!! I will check into those. I have struggled to even find church-based programs - I wish there was a comprehensive list somewhere...
