You know what makes me even more mad about teens texting. It's not like what they are talking about is sooo important. I mean they are probably chit chatting about stupid garbage like what an ugly shirt Jane was wearing. Or how Jane started dating some guy. This stuff can wait 15 minutes till a person is done driving!! It's not like teens are driving also somewhere far either!

Ani, I was merely addressing the incorrect observation that Mike made, I wasn't arguing for or against comparing cell phone use to drunk driving.

I agree, that needs to be shown to every kid before they are issued a driver's license...

You could probably say the exact same thing about 95% of the people (adults included) yapping on their cel phones while driving, sitting in a restaurant, walking through the grocery store...

No no. Keep the soapbox handy. It makes you look so tall and slender!

I can't text well sitting in a chair.

Can someone explain to me . . . why would anyone wish to text - instead of just making/taking a phone call - while driving? I don't even like using blue tooth and talking on the phone in the car. I really do find it distracting.

Why do people even want to text while driving?
