There is a big Corn Maze at Rural Hill farm in Huntersville. It's open until November.

We went there on Sat. Really nice, friendly staff and we bought some really good honey from their farm. I will say the hay ride was somewhat boring though, but overall it was a nice visit. We bought a few pumpkins and the pricing is basically the haggle system, you tell them what you want to pay for the pumpkin, but they have a minimum of course.

We went to Aw Shucks. It was fun but just a tad cheesy. Plus things weren't maintained too well. Half of pumps were broken for the duck races. Hardly any worms in the compost pile. The lone horse they had for "rides" was constantly on break. Now I don't mind that the horse needed breaks and only rode kids for about 10 minutes every hour but there were alot of kids that were diappointed (including mine) and didn't get to ride. They should have more horses and do away with the rides altogether.

The hay ride was boring as it was just around the corn maze and that was it.

However the corn maze was fun, picnic and play area was great and lassoing was fun.
