I was getting ready to call Two Men and a Truck b/c I need to have a piano and some other heavy furniture moved, and thought I would check out their job listings.

They have some job openings, at least according to their website - in Charlotte, Mooresville and Concord.

These jobs have benefits . . .here is info from the website:

Please bring in Criminal Background Check and Work History. Drivers need to bring in a 10 year Motor Vehicle Report. Pride and Enthusiasm is a MUST! 100% Drug Free Work Environment!! 401K, 125 Flex Plan, Health, Dental, and Vision Available.

Go to this URL and look on the right side - it will say "Click for our current employment listings."

I can't believe not one person out there looking for a job was interested in this job! Often, folks will take a job just for the benefits. Of course, this is hard work and not everyone is in physical shape to move furniture.

there was a post on here from someone moving from Washington state and her husband was just laid off. Maybe she would be interested? I'll see if I can dig up her screen name.

Thanx so much, coastalgirl! I knew there was a thread where someone was in a big mess b/c hubby had been laid off after accepting a job here, but couldn't remember which one and I am only popping on today (not taking time to read/write much).

I just know someone out there would qualify for these jobs! This will be my 4th time using Two Men and a Truck, and they have sent only top notch, really professional folks to help me. So I would think they would be a great company to work for.
