I saw the Milan Grande Disco some years back. Did not know our Charlotte sculpture had a twin, so it was a pleasant surprise. (Sorry for the digression, but I had to comment as it made Charlotte feel even more special to me because we had the same public art you see in Milan ( the home of DaVinci's "Last Supper!)

Or my personal fave, On Sharon Road, you will pass Sharon Ave, Sharon Lane etc
Oh and Sharon Road W or Providence Road W are NOT part of the main Sharon Road or Providence Road and won't intersect with them at all. LOL I found out the hard way....

What do I see Charlotte - that I didn't see in NJ? Lived in NJ for 35 years, been in CLT now for 15. People drive everywhere like complete a-holes and the police do nothing about it. Have fun all you Nascar wanna-be's ... especially through neighborhoods listed at 25 MPH. You will NOT get caught!!!!

In Charlotte you'll see people without jobs. Terrible drivers,( they feel NASCAR" drivers), undeveloped places, ( people are moving out, not in)cheap houses ( you can't leave the house after 6 pm or you will robbed) , neighbors that smoke pot ( in the garage, with the door open). Really the only up there is the weather ( luckily this season, no huricanes). Really I lived there for almost a year and still I can't find anything good.

I am so glad you found a more compatible spot, but I gotta ask . . . what part of this region did you live in? I don't live with cheap houses around me, don't have neighbors who smoke pot (well, if they do, they are partaking out of sight) most neighborhoods have HOAs that make sure folks don't leave garage doors open . . . the "undeveloped places" are called farms and they were here b/f you were . . . and as far as NASCAR drivers - don't know about that. The worst drivers typically have out of state tags on them in my part of town - that, or soccer mommies w/ phones in their ears.
I guess it all depends on where you lived. I love LA, but that is b/c when I think of LA, I am actually thinking of Santa Monica . . . not Compton. Perhaps you were in the "Compton" side of Charlotte?
