I once was undercharged $17 at a department store and went back to report it (before leaving the store). The cashier and the manager were furious at me that I was making them do more work to fix their mistake. I told myself then and there that I would never do the same thing again.

But I never could be so unethical.

I know I am better than that.

Too bad you aren't. The world would be a better place.

And what would your mother have thought? She didn't raise you that way, did she?

Maybe you should keep your conniving ways to yourself if you don't want to bear the wrath. Thievery makes things more expensive for everyone, so I consider it IMMINENTLY my business.

Default On-line coffessions

I'm wondering if OP posted this in the Religon Forum if he would feel better?

Something like "Forgive me Father for I have sinned..." and then went on to confess it all in one anoymous on-line confession.

You know maybe I'm on to something.On-line confessions. Go into a dark room (like a confessional booth) and post your confessions. The moderator will DM you with the contrition you must do.

What do you think guys??

Al the places i get gas in SC send a dollar charge thru right away then the rest of the charge comes later...sometimes a week or more.

EDIT: There is one in Matthews that does this too. I bet you still get charged.

This $1 charge routine is similar to opening a Pay Pal account. As I recall when I opened mine they sent 2 cents to verify the information that you gave them regarding your account numbers. Or something like that...
